The dead battery watch collection

I have learned my ‘watch making’ limits the hard way. I once thought I could just take care of the first layer of watch care for my watches. I figured changing batteries should be easy. Well, it is so for some, but others… oh boy! It takes way more patience, coordination and better eyesight than I am capable of. I spent one whole evening sweating literal bullets trying to screw back in a little screw that I needed to remove to swap in a batter on one of my favorite watches. Then I did it later again, and that when I realized the plain truth - watch making is just not for me. Yes, I love watches and love the idea of watch making - but I need to be honest with myself.
