This Atlantic Worldmaster 21 Jewels has an interesting story. I acquired it roughly 10 years ago on a family trip to Romania…
The acquisition:)
On a family trip to Romania, circa 2016 - one things I was after is to track down old watches. I kept looking and searching at flea markets and various other shops, for some of the more local watches I remembered as a child. I even owned one myself, it was an Orex winding watch. Nothing fancy, but a Romanian brand that I was a little intrigued about and curious if I could still find ‘today’. I wasn’t very successful in finding any, but one of my wife’s uncles remembered that he had an old watches is one drawer :). So he looked for it, found it and insisted I take it as a gift. That’s how I ended up with this Atlantic. It is beat up, or as I like to say, loved - and it came without a strap. I bought a strap and now I occasionally wear it. Not because it is fancy but because it has a story and it reminds me, indirectly of my childhood.

Wearing the watch and the first ending ring…

There is something really classy about the font styles used in this watch dial.
