I had about twenty frames of honey that I took off hives last fall and have not had a chance to extract the honey from yet. So we dis it just the other day. With spring right around the corner, I’m going to need these frames ready and back on the hives for the spring honey to get collected in.
Honey extraction is a multi/all sensory experience. Smell, feel, sound, visuals, taste - all senses are activated.
The fall honey is always much darker and more intense in flavor.
