I bough myself this guitar in 2021. I got it used from one of those website where people trade and sell instruments.
This is the second acoustic guitar I have but by far the best one. I really like it.

It is time to get back into playing…
I'll be honest, it has been a little while since I've played guitar in a very consistent way. It's kind of my strength and my weakness. When I get into something, I get really deep into it and I can't let go. So I've been busy with other things, but I'm getting back into it and I'm looking forward to playing all my favorite songs again.

The song I almost always start playing first when I get my hands on the guitar after a longer time of not playing very regularly is - Tears in Heaven, by the one and only and my all time most favorite musician - Eric Clapton

Unexpected battery problems!

Cracked 9V battery cartridge, because battery is too fat. :(
Well, this I didn't expect.. Was getting ready to jam a little, meaning the little bit of jamming I can do, and noticed the red light inside my Taylor was on. A little research told me this means the battery is low. So, I went and grabbed another... Easy. Nope! These Amazon Basics 9v are too big and actually don't fit in the battery cartridge. Mine even.cracked, trying - or maybe it was cracked, who knows anymore. I found a replacement cartridge on Amazon and I also bought a name brand 9V set of batteries.
Battery cartridge replacement

The new Taylor battery cartridge arrived the other day. Time to give it try and swap the broken one. It is made by Taylor so it will probably fit just fine.

The new cartridge fits the 9V battery much better. Or shall I say the 9V battery fits in the new cartridge better than in the old one. I should also mention that I got new 9V batteries, the Energizer Max, which based on web research are supposed to fit better. Who would have thought that all 9V batteries are not created equal and that they have slightly different sizes.
The strap
The strap was a gift from my wife for the same year that I bought myself the guitar. It is an authentic Taylor strap, made of leather and with a color that complements well the guitar.

The strap is adjustable and durable, yet soft and comfortable.

Beautiful pairing for my Taylor acoustic guitar.
