In 1993, when I was around 13 years old, in 7th or 8th grade, in Romania - an English professor visited our school. He gave us an assignment: to draw a comic book and, of course, write it in English. He left a note on mine. That note “It’s your future!” made at that time an impression on me. I have thought about it often. It was the little bit of encouragement that I needed to get deeper and deeper into the field of art, illustration and graphic design. The rest is history. Here I am, 33 years later, making a living out of this field.
These comic book drawings are very old. I don’t know for sure, as I can’t find any dates on them - but I am thinking they were done in 3rd/4th grade, so circa 1992/1993.
