The left small raised bed is ready also. There are some onion plants in it from last year. I plan to remove the old ones and plant some new bulbs. Will decide what else to plant in this bed after bit later.
The amount of weeds I pulled out is staggering. This is just one of 3 carts I took to the burn pile.
I gave the chicken the green thick weeds and they loved them.
The watermelon plants have been growing outside of the small raised bed and unto the weed barrier surrounding the beds. It feels like a good happy accident.
