This is The Septuagint. I got it as a Christmas gift not long ago. I look forward to reading this very interesting translation and some of the non-canonical books it also includes.

Some details are a bit off
I enjoy reading this translation, a little bit at the time, just about daily. It is interesting to think that this translation is putting forward an authentic version of how the early 1st century Greek speaking people were most likely reading the books of the Old Testament. Near concept. That said - one thing that really does bother me is how thin the pages are and as a result transparent. This makes the reading harder than it needs to be because you see the back side and even the page under as you read the page you are on. :(. Bad choices from the publisher and printer.
